Cássia is a researcher at Heidelberg University, Germany, with a multidisciplinary background in civil engineering, environmental sciences, and ecology. Her main interest lies in Nature-based Solutions for climate change adaptation, and the impacts of global change drivers, including climate and land use changes, on ecosystems. Within the LILY project, she is the WG3 co-lead, STSM coordinator, and Young Scientist Leader.
